Pirelli HangarBicocca presents its exhibition program for 2019 and 2020. Eight solo exhibitions by international artists, produced specifically for one of the major contemporary art venues of Europe, directed by Vicente Todolí.

Each year, the 15,000 sqm space of Pirelli HangarBicocca hosts two exhibitions by established artists in the “Navate” and two by younger artists in the “Shed”, developed entirely for these spaces, undertaking to create new exhibition models rather than imitate existing ones. Artists from different backgrounds, generations and cultures offer new visions of the world through a variety of medium and themes. In the Navate space: Sheela Gowda, Cerith Wyn Evans, Chen Zhen and Steve McQueen. In the Shed space: Giorgio Andreotta Calò, Daniel Steegmann Mangrané, Trisha Baga and Neïl Beloufa.

In keeping with Pirelli HangarBicocca’s mission to make art accessible to all, entry to the shows continue to be completely free of charge.
